On Saturday October 3, 2015, the Mullins Food Products team took a break from sauce manufacturing and headed out to Sugar Grove, IL to support Giant Steps in the 5K Walk For Autism. This year’s Giant Steps walk gave participants and donors the opportunity to see first-hand the magnificent property known as Rich Harvest Farms, the future site of the Canopy Community Center, which will offer expanded services to engage adults who live with autism.
The brisk fall weather did not stop dozens of Mullins Food Products team members and their families from participating and raising thousands of dollars for this wonderful cause. Janice and Loren Burroughs, both employees at Mullins Food Products, lead the fundraising efforts on behalf of their son, who is involved with the Giant Steps program.
