Harry J. Mullins founded our company, Mullins Food Products,
in 1934.
He started the business by bottling the
barbecue sauce he had developed for his restaurant and selling
it to local grocery stores and eating establishments. Through
the popularity of this special recipe, he eventually landed
national accounts with corporate retail food chains.
The business gained momentum through the years,
and, in 1968, we purchased Packaging Service Corporation.
This gave us the capability to concentrate on the fast-food
and institutional trade by offering a full line of liquid
condiments packaged in flexible films, cups, and plastic jugs.
During the past fifty years, Mullins Food Products
has grown from a family recipe to a major player in the liquid
condiments industry.
Today, our new, fully-automated facility located
in the western Chicago suburb of Broadview, Illinois is equipped
with the finest state-of-the-art machinery.
We feature a complete test kitchen, quality assurance lab
and 250,000 feet of warehouse storage space. Our staff is
comprised of more than 400 employees, many of whom have participated
in our growth throughout the years.
Mullins Food Products can help you maintain
your reputation for food-quality excellence. We will not settle
for anything less, because our business is riding on it ...
and so is yours.
